Transfer Rumours - May 17th
Expressandstar.com brings you all of the latest transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
We're not saying that they're true, just that they're out there.
Wolves
Wolves could make a move for Manchester City midfielder Aaron Mooy, if reports from his native Australia are to be believed.
The midfielder has been on show for Huddersfield Town over the course of this season on-loan, drawing interest from a number of clubs in the country.
The 26-year-old is also being tracked by Crystal Palace, Newcastle United and Aston Villa, meaning Wolves would need to fight them off to secure his services.
Another man linked with Molineux is Dani Pinillos, who's being allowed to leave Nottingham Forest this summer at the end of his contract.
Over two seasons, Pinillos featured just 35 times in the league for the Reds after struggling with injury.
However, the 24-year-old is still being seen as a potential left-back candidate, and one which could prove cheaper than other options.
West Brom
West Brom may miss out on securing the services of Chelsea centre-back John Terry, after the veteran defender said he was still considering retiring at the end of this season.
The 35-year-old former England captain will leave Stamford Bridge this summer at the end of his contract and was heavily linked with a move to Albion.
However, the defensive stalwart could end any speculation by retiring at the season's end, although lucrative deals are likely to be offered in a number of leagues.
Aston Villa
Norwich City have joined the race to sign Villa target Marley Watkins, and are reportedly set to sign the 26-year-old.
The Barnsley midfielder was heavily linked with a move to Villa Park and will be leaving Oakwell at the end of his contract this summer, but a move to Carrow Road may have tempted him away from B6.
If true, the move would be a bitter blow for Steve Bruce, who will reportedly need to fund purchases with player sales.
Walsall
Jon Whitney has revealed Walsall are in talks to sign a new goalkeeper.
The Saddlers are on the hunt for a new glovesman with out-of-contract Neil Etheridge expected to turn down a new three-year deal currently on the table.
While having the final say on any signings made, Whitney said assistant Neil Cutler has identified potential keepers for next season.
