Gavin Cowan's men beat Hartlepool United 2-1 on Saturday to book their place in the last 16 of the competition.

Spennymoor progressed thanks to a comfortable 3-0 win over Sutton United, and are currently sixth in National League North, just two places behind Telford.

The draw means this will be United's third trip to the North East for this season's competition having previously knocked out Darlington before their impressive victory over Hartlepool.

The club have already pocketed £18,000 from the competition so far and will earn a further £8,000 should they progress to the quarter finals.

Their former club, Telford United FC, won the FA Trophy three times with the last occasion being 30 years ago this year.

The tie will be played on the weekend of Saturday 2 February 2019
