McEntee excelled in the centre of the park last term - scoring six times and setting up four more in 27 appearances across all competitions before a hamstring injury curtailed his season on Boxing Day.
The 23-year-old returned for the opening four games but has struggled for minutes since returning from a calf injury in September. However, Sadler insists he will continue to be a vital asset at Walsall.
When asked if he could still be considered as a midfield option, Sadler responded: "Definitely, 100 per cent. Oisin is an incredible athlete and I love working with him. He's the type of player that I want to go to war with.
