Does Carlos Corberan know his best XI?
No one really knew the answer to it, but there was a big argument to say he probably didn't prior to the win over Hull.
Back at the end of the transfer window, Albion were in a position where they had more depth in their squad and had made some shrewd and exciting signings towards the end of August.
Those players, who would be staking a claim for regular starting places, arrived at a time when Albion were on a superb run at the beginning of the campaign.
In the end it turned into five wins from six and they were leading the Championship pack, while still having big names and new signings sat on the substitutes bench.
Corberan went with the same line-up in near enough all of those games, which was almost a club record before Jayson Molumby was forced out with injury.
From then, over the last eight games and during a time where Albion couldn't buy a win, Corberan has tinkered with things but alongside that has been forced to change.
