Walsall loanee Nathan Lowe nominated for League Two award
Walsall striker Nathan Lowe has been nominated for the League Two Fans' Player of the Month award for October.
The Stoke City loanee has been included on a six-man shortlist alongside Port Vale goalkeeper Connor Ripley, Notts County defender Matthew Platt, Crewe Alexandra wide man Shilow Tracey and former Saddlers pair Will Grigg (Chesterfield) and Andy Cook (Bradford).
Lowe scored four goals in five games during October including a brace in Walsall's 2-2 draw at Chesterfield before the international break.
The 19-year-old also registered an assist during Walsall's heavy 6-2 defeat against Fleetwood earlier in the month and has been directly involved in 11 goals in 15 appearances in all competitions (eight goals, three assists).
Walsall face League One outfit Bolton Wanderers at Bescot in the FA Cup first round tomorrow afternoon.
