Superb Hawthorns triumph for West Brom as Wolves suffer defeat
Albion romped to a 4-1 win over Huddersfield Town at The Hawthorns in the Women’s National League Northern Premier Division.
Hannah George opened the scoring inside five minutes, and Simran Jhamat added a second.
George was denied from the spot, although Huddersfield were reduced to 10 players before the break.
Feiruz Abdullahi reduced the deficit for Huddersfield, only for George to bag her brace.
Jannelle Straker then wrapped up the win with a sensational 35-yard screamer.
