Wolves and Aston Villa to go head to head on FIFA 20 for charity
Aston Villa and Wolves' Premier League clash due to take place this weekend may well be postponed indefinitely, but the sides will be going head to head in another way - all in aid of charity.
Instead, both sides will go up against one another on a virtual pitch, with Villa taking on their Premier League neighbours in a game of FIFA 20.
There will be some star power on show in the encounter too, with Ezri Konsa and Diogo Jota in charge of their respective sides - with fans able to tune in and watch online.
The game was originally planned as a fundraiser for Acorns, with volunteer buckets available around the ground to help bring in cash for the charity.
However, with Premier League football suspended until April 30 at the earliest, Villa and Wolves came together to help find another way to raise funds.
The game will kick off at 12.30pm on Saturday April 4, the same time and date the Premier League clash was scheduled for, with Jota and Konsa going head to head on PS4.
Wolves have been playing games on FIFA 20 in place of their normal Premier League fixtures since the league's suspension - with their dedicated eSports team featuring in those encounters.
This will be the first time the club's eSports team will be represented by a first-team player.
