Deadly Wolves Sporting duo hit the goal trail
Glenn Wellings and Adam Shorto proved too hot to handle as Wolves Sporting extended their unbeaten start to the Cannock Chase League season.
Sporting won 6-2 at Bridge Inn to move three points clear at the top of the Division Two standings.
And Wellings and Shorto were the men who fired them to victory with a hat-trick each. Ben Allen and Chris Geldart replied.
Hen House Sports Bar missed out on the chance to go second as they went down 3-2 at home to Five Ways.
Stuart Beard and Joe Geldart scored for Hen House, but strikes from Jon Cox, Simon Traat and Brad Martin saw the visitors claim the spoils.
AFC Jubilee picked up three points at basement boys Brinsford. Goals from Adam Wright, Tom Hill and Brandon Marriott saw the visitors triumph 3-2.

The Division One League Cup action saw Littleton Arms and Belt Road record comfortable wins on the road.
Matt Allport claimed a hat-trick as Littleton won 5-0 at BB FC. Adam Tonks and Jamie Murphy added the other goals.
Jordan Dodd was the star turn for Belt Road, netting four times in their 6-2 success at Bloxwich Swifts.
Liam Birch and Harry Ward added to Dodd’s haul while Connor Cox and Josh Kirby scored for Swifts.
Miners United dug deep to book their place in the next round of the Staffs FA TB Williamson Cup.

But there was no joy for Brereton Town in the Staffs FA Sam Kimberley Trophy.
