Black Country Rangers look for revenge
Black Country Rangers will be looking to avenge their loss to Darlaston Town when the teams clash again tomorrow.
Only a month on from their 4-0 away drubbing, Rangers will be hoping their new-found 3-5-2 formation will hand them the victory this time around.
They currently sit in fifth place in the West Midland League Premier Division with four wins, one draw and two losses.
A 3-1 away win last time out against Cradley will give them confidence after losing 8-0 at home to Leicester Road in the FA Vase before that.
Manager Sean Geddes said: “I wasn’t there for the game (against Darlaston) as I had a weekend away, but I’m told it was a disaster.
“I’m sure the boys will be up for it after the last game.
“We’ve changed formation now to a 3-5-2, we have some better players in and let some go – it’s improved us dramatically.
“Our wing-backs are quick and fit, they’re our out ball and we play very attacking, it’s a risk.
“Darlaston play a similar formation so man-for-man we shouldn’t have a problem now.
“I shouldn’t have to tell the lads, they won’t want another thrashing.”
“Everyone is ready for Saturday.”
The other top flight games see Wolverhampton Casuals travel to Wednesfield, Cradley Town head to Bewdley Town, Dudley Sports are away at Bilston Town, Smethwick Rangers host Pershore Town and Dudley Town welcome Littleton.
