Wolves

Aston Villa could be set to rival Wolves for former striker Benik Afobe, according to reports.

Wolves are keen to bring the forward back to Molineux this month on-loan, although Bournemouth want a deal with a view to a permanent move.

Wolves are only after a one-off loan however, although Villa are now reportedly keen on his services too.

Meanwhile, Ben Marshall could still be shopped by Wolves despite the rapidly approaching transfer deadline.

Sunderland were heavily linked with a move for the winger earlier this month, but a deal has yet to materialise.

A number of Championship clubs are thought to be interested in the former Blackburn man.

West Brom

Arsenal's hopes of signing Jonny Evans may have taken a hit after Albion's loan capture of Daniel Sturridge, according to reports.

Alan Pardew was known to be in the hunt for a striker, bagging the England international on-loan, when it was thought that West Brom would need to fund a deal for an attacker with their skipper's sale.

However, after bringing in Sturridge on-loan, a deal for Evans to leave is no longer thought to be a necessity for Pardew.

Crystal Palace are reportedly keen on West Brom midfielder Jake Livermore.

The Eagles are hunting for reinforcements as the deadline approaches and see the England international as a potential target.

Albion have Gareth Barry, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Sam Field and Claudio Yacob, all of whom can play in midfield.

Aston Villa

Spurs will not recall on-loan attacker Josh Onomah this month, according to reports.

Onomah is highly rated at Wembley, and following a number of impressive performances at Villa Park, rumours pointed to a recall for the youngster.

However reports now state that he is likely to spend the remainder of this season at B6.

Meanwhile, reports are also suggesting that Alan Hutton could be set to leave Villa this summer.

The Scot has found a new home on the left side of defence in recent games, keeping natural left-back Neil Taylor on the bench.

However, reports claim that this season will be his last with Villa.

Walsall

Jon Whitney is keen to add a winger and a centre back to his side before the transfer deadline passes.

Walsall secured the loan signing of Justin Shaibu earlier this week.

However, with more players needed, the boss could work frantically to add players at his desired positions.
