Wolves
Nuno faces competition from West Ham, Swansea, Stoke and Leicester for FC Augsburg full-back, Daniel Opare.
A £3m transfer fee could well be enough to tempt the Ghanaian to England, and given Phil Ofosu-Ayeh's continued struggles with injury - Wolves are thought to be keen to add a right-back.
Stoke were thought to be the leaders for his signature, but worries over Mark Hughes' future has opened the door for other suitors.
West Brom
PSG could be set to end Grzegorz Krychowiak's spell at The Hawthorns - but won't be picking up his wages in the French capital, if reports online are proved true.
The Poland international has endured a tough spell on-loan in the Black Country, and his parent club may look to loan him out elsewhere this January.
Spanish club Getafe are rumoured to be keen on the midfielder's services, although West Brom may be keen to keep him for the remainder of the season.
Aston Villa owner Tony Xia has talked down rumours linking Sam Johnstone with a move to The Hawthorns.
The goalkeeper is currently on-loan at Villa Park from Manchester United, and rumours this week suggested United could recall him and sell him to Albion for a fee thought to be around £4m.
However, Xia has stated that 'he will be with us [Villa]' and that he could stay permanently should the club secure promotion.
Aston Villa
Steve Bruce is reported to be monitoring Middlesbrough midfielder Adam Clayton this January.
Clayton has struggled to break into the Boro starting XI this season as they continue to try and fight their way into the play-off places.
It's thought that Villa are joined by Leeds, Sheffield United, Cardiff, Derby and Sheffield Wednesday in their interest.
Meanwhile, Bruce has confirmed that he has 'one or two things bubbling' in terms of deals this month.
Villa are thought to be tightly constrained by financial fair play, but the boss has revealed that some deals could happen.
Loan deals are another possibility for the Villans, and Bruce claimed that any temporary moves are likely to happen later in the month: 'I don’t think it really happens until the end of January.' he told the club website.
Walsall
There are no fresh Walsall transfer rumours today.
