Wolves
Sheffield Wednesday may have opened the door on Wolves' chances of bagging striker Jordan Rhodes.
The Owls were previously thought to be keen on a permanent deal for the Scot, having signed the forward from Middlesbrough, but are now apparently open to loan offers, according to reports.
Leeds United have also been linked with Rhodes, who had been prolific at Championship level in previous seasons.
West Brom
Albion are reportedly interested in signing Bournemouth striker Benik Afobe before the transfer deadline passes this week.
The former Wolves has failed to score a goal this season so far for the Cherries, and it's thought that a £12m offer could be made by Tony Pulis to test Eddie Howe's resolve to keep the forward.
Albion had previously shown an interest in Vincent Janssen at Spurs, but could decide to look elsewhere as time begins to tick down on possible deals.
Aston Villa
Middlesbrough have made a bid of around £2m for supposed Aston Villa target Marvin Johnson, according to reports.
Steve Bruce has been linked with a move for the 26-year-old attacker, although Oxford United are thought to want £3m for his services.
Leicester City and Birmingham City are also thought to be interested.
Walsall
Walsall boss Jon Whitney says he is still eyeing one more signing before the transfer window closes.
“I’m still looking – we’d like one more before the window closes,” the boss said.
Walsall are also keeping tabs on Stourbridge forward Jordan Archer who is the joint top scorer in the Evostik Premier Division with five goals.
