Could Jack Wilshere be set to leave Arsenal this summer?

We're not saying that they're true, just that they're out there.

Wolves

Rumoured Wolves target Kenneth Omeruo has shot down reports that he's set for a move to Molineux via Twitter.

The 23-year-old Nigerian defender is primarily a centre-back, but can play in defensive midfield or at right-back - and was linked with a £3m move to the Black Country.

However, when quizzed about the situation on Twitter, the defender stated that there is 'no truth' to the link.

Also, Wolves could be set to do battle with Aston Villa over the signing of Jamie Hopcutt from Ostersunds FK.

The 25-year-old central midfielder has impressed during his time in Sweden - and scored in his side's Europa League qualifying clash with Galatasaray

It's thought that a fee of £1.5m may be enough to pry him away from Scandinavia - although Premier League side Brighton are also thought to hold an interest in him.

West Brom

Albion could improve their midfield by considering a deal for Jack Wilshere this summer.

The Arsenal man spent last season on-loan at Bournemouth before injury struck once again - ending his campaign prematurely.

His parent club seem likely to listen to offers for him over the transfer window, and following Darren Fletcher's departure to Stoke a move to The Hawthorns could make sense for all parties.

Meanwhile, The Baggies have missed out on rumoured target Tom Huddlestone, following his move to Derby County.

The midfielder was thought to be a player of interest for the Baggies earlier this summer - but the Hull City man eventually moved back to his boyhood club in a £2m deal.

Tony Pulis has prioritised strengthening the spine of his team this summer, with a centre-back and central midfielder the most likely additions.

Aston Villa

Real Betis and Saint Ettiene are ready to go head-to-head for the signing of Aston Villa midfielder Jordan Veretout.

The Frenchman spent last season on-loan at the Ligue 1 club, and is likely to leave the Midlands this summer as Steve Bruce looks to sell a number of unwanted players.

It's thought that Real Betis are leading the race for his signature, and are keen to sort out a deal this week.

Liverpool are now thought to be hunting Villa full-back Jordan Amavi, with a reported loan-deal on the cards.

The left-back was on the verge of joining Sevilla in an £8m deal, before the club claimed he failed a medical before attempting to sign him on-loan, a move which angered the Midlands club.

That deal now seems unlikely to be revived, and Liverpool are now thought to be keen, although they favour a temporary deal (leading to a permanent signing) following the questions regarding his fitness.

Walsall

Walsall boss Jon Whitney wants to sign another central defender before the season gets underway.

The boss is also keen to bring in a striker - but has stated that any deal will depend on his budget.

The Saddlers sale of Andreas Makris earlier in the summer offered some finances for Whitney, whilst any deal for ex-Walsall man Troy Deeney will also see the club receive significant funds via a 20 per cent sell-on clause currently in place.
