We're not saying that they're true, just that they're out there.

Wolves

Ex-Wolves winger James Henry has joined Oxford United

The 28-year-old left Molineux this summer at the end of his contract, and has now joined the U's in a three-year-deal.

The right sided player spent the best part of last season on-loan at Bolton from Wolves.

Meanwhile, reports have suggested that Wolves could let Dominic Iorfa leave the club this summer.

The young defender has been left out of the club's pre-season tour of Austria - which has opened speculation regarding his future.

The arrival of a number of defensive signings hasn't helped his cause either.

West Brom

West Brom plan to swoop for Manchester United duo Chris Smalling and Phil Jones.

The two were linked with moves to Arsenal earlier this summer, but with Tony Pulis keen to bolster his defence - both players could be of interest at The Hawthorns.

It's thought that Albion may have to pay up to £30m for the pair.

Also, another defender of interest to Pulis is that of Lamine Kone.

The Sunderland stopper is thought to be up for sale at the Stadium of Light - with new boss Simon Grayson keen to put his print on his squad.

Burnley are also thought to be keen in the £10m-rated centre-back.

Aston Villa

Steve Bruce links with Manchester United have seen him linked with a move for young defender Cameron Borthwick-Jackson.

The youngster was on-loan at Wolves last season, but fell out of favour at Molineux, despite being a promising talent at Old Trafford.

Leeds United are also keen on the 20-year-old.

Also, it's believed that the stuttering status of Jordan Amavi could delay any potential deal for Glenn Whelan to join Villa.

The veteran midfielder is heavily linked with a move to B6, after an initial bid for him was turned down by Mark Hughes.

Amavi's sale would have brought in £8m, but that deal with Sevilla has since fallen through.

Walsall

All quiet at the Banks's.
