Transfer Rumours - July 12th
Expressandstar.com brings you all of the latest transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
We're not saying that they're true, just that they're out there.
Wolves
Wolves winger Jordan Graham has rubbished rumours linking him away from Molineux.
The youngster, who only came back from a serious knee injury at the end of the season, was yesterday linked with a shock move to Rochdale on-loan.
However, the ex-Villa man tweeted to confirm that the rumours were false - stating that his absence from Wolves' pre-season tour is due to a slight injury.
Meanwhile, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson is now thought to be of interest to Ipswich Town.
The Icelandic striker is being given an extended summer break by Wolves following almost two years of football without a rest.
However, Ipswich are thought to be keen on the towering striker, although Wolves fans would most likely disapprove of any decision to let the fan-favourite leave.
West Brom
Tony Pulis is set to hold talks with Chelsea centre-back Kurt Zouma.
The young France international could be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge this season, and West Brom are keen to add to their back line.
It's thought that a loan deal is on the cards - although Albion will face a task to secure his services, with Stoke City also due to hold a meeting with him.
Also, The Baggies are due to battle Newcastle United for the signing of Islam Slimani.
The Algerian international only joined Leicester last summer in a £28m deal, but has failed to light the King Power Stadium this past season.
That has piqued interest around the Premier League, with Albion eyeing the sizeable striker in a deal which could set them back a similar price to what the Foxes paid for him.
Aston Villa
Burton Albion assistant Andy Garner has added fuel to the flames regarding Aston Villa target Jackson Irvine's departure.
The Australian midfielder has been linked with a move away from the Pirelli Stadium, and Garner has since confirmed that the club is acting in preparation of his exit.
Villa are likely to do battle with Derby County for his signature - although Premier League interest could also come in for him.
Steve Bruce's side are also outsiders to secure the signature of former captain, Gareth Barry.
The midfielder left Villa in 2009 for Manchester City, but has recently been linked with a return as his former club look to sign a defensive midfielder.
Bookmakers have the Villans as 8/1 outsiders to bring him in, whilst West Brom are also being linked with the Everton man.
Walsall
All quiet at the Banks's.
