Transfer Rumours - July 5th
Expressandstar.com brings you all of the latest transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
We're not saying they're true, just that they're out there.
Wolves
Wolves are reportedly keen on Dynamo Dresden full-back Philip Heise.
The left-sided defender only joined his current club in January, making 17 starts for the club.
Wolves have previously signed left-back Barry Douglas, so if any deal does happen it would seem an odd addition - although Heise could be used as a back-up for the Scot.
Meanwhile, Wolves' hopes of signing Sporting Lisbon winger Iuri Medeiros seem to have taken a hit.
Following his links with a move to England, the 22-year-old has been quoted saying that he's happy where he is.
It seems Nuno Espirito Santo may need to consider another option should he want to invest in another winger.
West Brom
The Baggies have withdrawn their interest in rumoured target Adrien Silva.
The Sporting Lisbon captain was thought to be on Tony Pulis' radar this summer, following links last season with Leicester City.
However, Silva has reportedly shot down Albion's interest as he's keen to play in the Champions League this season.
Meanwhile, The Baggies are set to rival Crystal Palace, Watford and Newcastle for Kamil Grosicki.
The Hull City winger put in some solid performances for the club ahead of their relegation last season, and is one of the club's bigger assets.
The Polish star is available at £11m thanks to a release clause in his contract at the KCOM.
Aston Villa
Rumoured Sheffield Wednesday target Alan Hutton has spoken out about his future.
The right-back has become a fan-favourite at B6, and links with a move to Sheffield came with a mixed reaction from fans.
However, the Scottish defender has spoken out on Instagram saying that he's "staying where I am".
Meanwhile, Steve Bruce is set to accelerate deals for Sam Johnstone and Glenn Whelan.
The Premier League duo are both set to leave their respective clubs - with Villa Park their likely destination.
Bruce had a bid turned down for Whelan earlier in the summer, whilst talks of another loan deal for Johnstone seem to have Villa leading the race for his signature.
Walsall
The Saddlers could earn more than £4m if Watford sell Troy Deeney this summer.
The ex-Walsall striker has been subject of a £20m bid from Leicester, according to reports - a fee that the Saddlers could see part of.
The deal in which they sold Deeney holds a 20 per cent sell-on clause, meaning a £20m deal could lad £4m at the Banks's.
