Could Nahki Wells be a wise move for Wolves? (AMA)

We're not saying they're true, just that they're out there.

Wolves

Wolves should consider an audacious move for Huddersfield Town striker Nahki Wells, according to HITC.

The Mirror have linked the 27-year-old with a move out of the recently promoted side, suggesting that an £8m bid could be enough to tempt the Terriers into a deal.

The Bermuda international has just one year remaining on his current deal, scoring ten goals last season as Huddersfield secured promotion to the Premier League.

Meanwhile, former Wolves coach Rob Edwards could turn to his old club as he seeks loan deals for AFC Telford.

Edwards, who was appointed boss at the New Bucks Head this week, is likely to use his contacts at Molineux if he feels it can help his squad - something we've reported this morning.

That could see some of Nuno Espirito Santo's younger players gain some experience in the National League North as opposed to less testing youth games.

West Brom

Burnley have emerged as suitors for West Brom defender Craig Dawson.

Reports from The Mirror claim that Sean Dyche is looking at the 27-year-old as a possible replacement for Michael Keane, who's set for a move to Everton.

The Burnley boss, who was interested in Dawson in 2014, believes he can tempt the Englishman to Turf Moor due to Tony Pulis playing him out of position for the majority of last season.

Also, Albion have been linked with a shock move for Manchester United goalkeeper, Sam Johnstone.

The 24-year-old is wanted by Aston Villa following his loan spell at the club last season, although Leicester, Huddersfield and Middlesbrough are also keen, according to the Daily Mail.

United are willing to let the young shot-stopper leave as David De Gea looks like staying at Old Trafford despite interest from Real Madrid, who could look at Thibaut Courtois instead.

Aston Villa

Celtic have been beaten Aston Villa to the signing of Ipswich Town midfielder Kundai Benyu.

BBC Sport are reporting that Brendan Rodgers has sealed a four-year-deal for the out-of-contract Tractor Boys prospect, Villa had also been credited with an interest in him.

The 19-year-old spent a portion of last season on-loan at Aldershot, scoring five goals in 21 appearances.

Also, Forest Green Rovers are interested in a move for Aston Villa goalkeeper Matija Sarkic.

The 19-year-old prospect is highly rated, but is unlikely to get ahead of the other goalkeepers on Villa's books next season, meaning a loan deal could be likely.

GloucestershireLive are reporting that Sarkic could make the move to the New Lawn Stadium this summer.

Walsall

Walsall should rekindle their interest in Manchester City youngster Ellis Plummer.

TalkSport originally reported that a deal was close for the defender last year, and Football League World have now claimed that the Saddlers could be a good destination for the 21-year-old.

Plummer is set to leave the Etihad this summer as his contract is due to expire.
