We're not saying they're true, just that they're out there.

Wolves

Wolves are unlikely to make a move for Britt Assombalonga this summer.

Links were made between the Nottingham Forest striker and Molineux earlier this summer, but those reports seem to be off-target.

Reports from the Nottingham Post claim that Mark Warburton has no desire to sell the striker, who scored 14 goals last season as Forest secured survival in what was a questionable campaign.

Meanwhile, reports have claimed that Nuno Espirito Santo should consider signing Sporting Lisbon midfielder Iuri Medeiros.

Portuguese newspaper O Jogo claims that the Wolves boss will have to pay €9m for the 22-year-old.

Often deployed on the right wing, but able to play in the middle or on the left, he spent last season on-loan at Boavista - making 30 appearances, scoring seven times and bagging nine assists.

West Brom

Albion are among a trio of clubs keen on Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia.

According to Sky Italia, the centre-back is on Tony Pulis' radar, and is also wanted by Huddersfield and Genoa.

He spent the latter half of last season on-loan at Hull City, playing 16 times at the KCOM, scoring twice.

Also, West Brom have also been linked with centre-back Milan Skriniar, who looked to be set to head to Inter.

The Sampdoria player looked to be on his way to Milan, but his agent has said otherwise - claiming that offers from Spain and England have been made for his services.

Squawka suggests that The Hawthorns could be a possible destination, should a move to the San Siro not happen.

Aston Villa

It seems Aston Villa might have a chance to re-kindle a move for Robert Snodgrass, with West Ham looking to off-load the midfielder.

Steve Bruce was thought to be keen on a move for the Scot in January, but Hull City ended up selling to West Ham - who have already given up on him, according to The Mirror.

The 29-year-old has a lengthy deal in place, and Slaven Bilic will be hoping to recoup as much as possible from their initial outlay of £10m.

Steve Bruce is trying to tempt John Terry to Villa by claiming he'll be in pole position to succeed him as manager if he joins.

The former England Captain looks set for B6 as his contract with Chelsea expires, with Bruce offering up a lucrative deal for the 36-year-old.

Reports from the Daily Star claim that Terry, who's keen to become a manager, could be in line to follow on from Bruce should he leave Villa in the future.

Walsall

All quiet at the Banks's.
