Could we see Ashley Young head back to the Midlands?

We're not saying they're true, just that they're out there.

Wolves

Millwall are still keen on bringing Jed Wallace back to The Den, after his loan spell from Wolves last season.

It was previously reported that a deal for the 23-year-old wasn't close, but the Lions are still hoping to secure his signing over the summer.

The former Portsmouth man scored three times in his loan spell with the club, and it seems his future lies away from Molineux.

Meanwhile, former Wolves boss, Kenny Jackett is being linked with a move for James Henry.

The Portsmouth manager is keen on grabbing Henry on a free deal, following his release from Wolves.

The 27-year-old was a part of the team which gained promotion to the Championship, and made more than 100 appearances after his permanent arrival.

West Brom

It seems that West Brom could miss out on the signing of Chelsea legend, John Terry.

The veteran centre-back is reportedly edging closer to a deal with Bournemouth, who have had a busy start to the summer transfer window.

The ex-England captain was thought to be of interest to Tony Pulis, but now a deal seems unlikely.

Aston Villa

Villa are one of the clubs linked with the signing of former winger, Ashley Young.

The Manchester United man is expected to leave Old Trafford, and Villa are among the clubs listed as the favourites to sign him by the bookmakers.

He's 10/1 to return to B6 this summer, whilst Stoke City, Newcastle United and West Brom are also being linked.

Also, another man being mentioned regarding a trip back to the club is Andreas Weimann.

The Austrian forward spent a portion of last season on-loan at Wolves, but with no permanent deal being struck with the player - some Villa fans have called for an unlikely return.

His future at Derby County is thought to be in question, although he could end up staying put with Gary Rowett, who wasn't in charge when he was sent out on-loan.

Walsall

Jon Whitney is keen to get his academy players loan deals this summer.

The boss confirmed the reason that the Saddlers will be playing a number of non-league sides in pre-season is to show off the youngsters and hopefully secure them temporary deals.

Walsall will face the likes of Solihull Moors, Stafford Ranges and Kidderminster Harriers ahead of next season.
