Transfer Rumours - May 31st
Expressandstar.com brings you all of the latest transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
We're not saying they're true, just that they're out there.
Wolves
Following Paul Lambert's exit, Wolves are now favourites to sign centre-back, Fabio Cardoso from Vitoria Setubal.
The 23-year-old was thought to be close to a deal with Rangers, but with Nuno Espirito Santo closing in on the Wolves job, could head to Molineux instead.
Able to play in the centre or to the left of defence, he could be one of a number of moves to the club in what's expected to be a busy transfer window.
Meanwhile, rumoured Wolves target Aaron Mooy is staying quiet about his future.
The Australian midfielder recently secured promotion with Huddersfield Town on-loan from Manchester City, but is unlikely to break into the first-team set-up at the Etihad.
Wolves are one of a number of clubs interested in his services - but he's keen to bide his time, having just ended the season with the Terriers.
West Brom
Albion are yet to make an offer for Mainz forward, Jhon Cordoba.
The striker is being linked with a move away from the German club, with the side expecting bids for the Colombian.
Tony Pulis is thought to be keen on him, with the club in desperate need of additional striking options.
Also, Baggies youngster Jonathan Leko could be set to leave the club on-loan this summer.
Despite being a promising talent, the starlet is still finding his feet in the first-team, so may be allowed to gain experience elsewhere.
Ipswich are thought to be the most interested in the promising talent, although other offers may come in.
Aston Villa
Following Reading's play-off final defeat to Huddersfield, Aston Villa are being linked with a move for Royals midfielder, Danny Williams.
The United States international was linked with a move to Villa Park last summer, and following a stand out season could be set to move on from the Madejski.
Williams is keen to play in the Premier League - so convincing him to join Steve Bruce might be tough given interest from the likes of Newcastle United.
Meanwhile, one man likely to make a move this summer is Ollie Watkins, after his Exeter City side missed out on play-off promotion from League Two.
The forward has been linked with Aston Villa and Leeds this summer, whilst QPR and Bristol City are also thought to be interested in offering him a route to the Championship.
The 21-year-old would help bolster Bruce's attacking ranks, with Jonathan Kodjia out with an ankle injury for the foreseeable future.
Walsall
The Saddlers might be keen on making a move for Everton right-back, Gethin Jones this summer.
The Australian-born youngster spent time on-loan at Barnsley last season and is likely to be offered more experience outside the Premier League next season.
Taking to the pitch 17 times for the Tykes last season, Jon Whitney could bring the 21-year-old to the Banks's to bolster his back line - but could face competition from other clubs in League One and the Championship.
