Who's been linked with a move to the Midlands?

We're not saying they're true, just that they're out there.

Wolves

Wolves could be set to move for Angers striker, Famara Diedhiou.

The Senegalese forward is on the radar of a number of English clubs, including Fulham and Bristol City - according to reports.

He bagged eight goals for the Ligue One club, triggering interest in his signature this summer.

Another name of interest to those at Molineux is that of Barnsley midfielder, Josh Scowen.

The 24-year-old is believed to have turned down a contract at Oakwell - meaning he'll be available on a free transfer now the season has come to a close.

That news has got several clubs in the Championship interested in a move for the Englishman - with Aston Villa also sniffing in his direction.

West Brom

Tony Pulis faces a battle to secure the services of Celtic defender and rumoured target, Jozo Simunovic.

The Croatian defender is a hot prospect with the Hoops, drawing interest south of the border and could be set to move on this summer.

At just 22 years of age, the centre-back is highly rated, with interest from Newcastle, Crystal Palace, Burnley and RB Leipzig likely to make any deal a tough one to sort out cheaply.

Meanwhile, bookmakers are listing West Brom as one of the favourites to sign former Aston Villa midfielder, Fabian Delph.

The England international has struggled to hold down a place at Manchester City and could look elsewhere to restart his career.

The 27-year-old famously pulled a dramatic U-turn at Villa, claiming he wanted to stay at the club before heading to the Etihad ahead of their relegation season.

Aston Villa

Steve Bruce is hoping to sign up promising non-league prospect, Alex Woodyard.

The Lincoln City midfielder was recently voted non-league player of the season, and is thought to be of interest to a number of football league clubs.

With a defensive mindset, he won't bag many goals, but could prove a suitable player to cover the likes of Mile Jedinak or play alongside him.

One midfielder almost certain to leave Villa Park this summer is Carles Gil.

The creative Spaniard has been on-loan at Deportivo La Coruna this season, and has numerous suitors according to reports.

Gil joined Villa for just over £3m, and Steve Bruce will hope to make back that amount or more if possible.

Walsall

Walsall could be set to see a cash windfall from any potential deal regarding Troy Deeney this summer.

Deeney is being heavily linked with a move away from Watford, with the Hornets slapping a £30m price tag on the striker.

Any move for that figure could earn the Saddlers over £6m, with a 20 per cent sell-on clause thought to be in place.
