Darts’ dark arts probe
Darts chiefs are set to probe the final of the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton amid accusations of gamesmanship.
Sunday’s bad-tempered final between eventual winner Gerwyn Price and Gary Anderson has been referred to the Darts Regulation Authority after the pair’s repeated verbal clashes.
It is understood changes under consideration could see a player warned for over-exuberant celebrations or time-wasting. A second violation would see them forfeit a leg.
Anderson was visibly furious during the final at Alderseley Leisure Village and the crowd booed Price as he lifted the trophy.
