Jones reached the second round on Saturday, beating Mark Cox 6-3 before losing 6-2 to Ian White. He then reached the third round of yesterday's tournament.

Eventual winner Brendan Dolan halted his challenge 6-3, after Jones had dropped just a leg in a 6-1 win over Sean Ryan before beating Matt Clark 6-2.

Fullwell reached the third round on Saturday before he was defeated 6-2 by Peter Hudson, seeing off Matthew Dicken 6-4 and Joe Cullen in the last leg, 6-5.

Dicken went out in the first round of both tournaments, losing 6-4 to Fullwell on Saturday before winning just a leg in a 6-1 loss to Tony West.

Farmer also fell at the first hurdle on Saturday, 6-4 to Dan Russell, before bouncing back to beat Antonio Alcinas 6-2. A second round last leg defeat to Andy Smith, 6-5, put him out.
