Exhibition darts returns to Penkridge hotel

Exhibition darts returns to Penkridge later this month with Peter Manley and Steve Beaton the star attractions at the town's Hatherton Country House Hotel.

A light-hearted evening at the oche will raise funds for the Midlands Air Ambulance on Friday April 26, with a raffle offering a leg against the players.

Manley is now forging himself a career as a pundit on Sky Sports after reaching three PDC World Championship semi-finals, losing all three times to Phil Taylor.

Beaton is currently ranked World No 28 in the PDC Order of Merit and 'the Bronzed Adonis,' from Coventry, is a regular feature in the top televised tournaments.

They will play against each other and members of the audience on a full stage with their signature entrance tunes, including Manley's 'Is This the Way to Amarillo.'

The hotel are also offering bed and breakfast rooms at a special rate, at £60 for a double-twin room and £75 for a family room.
