It was well and truly a day to forget for Walsall as they were all out for just 32 in their Premier Division clash at Shrewsbury.

Walsall hit just 32 runs.

No batter managed to register double figures for them at London Road as their innings came to an end in the 21st over.

James Middleton and Billy-J Cox – both six – were their top scorers.

Both Dannyjo Cox and Sivakumar Duwarapu were out for ducks.

The hosts, top of the table, made short work of getting the win, ending 33-1 in the fifth over – Paul Byrne getting Walsall’s wicket.

They are seventh after the loss.

One place above are West Bromwich Dartmouth, who lost by five wickets against Ombersley.

Dartmouth made a bad start to their innings as skipper and opener Kadeer Ali went out for six.

Liam Banks and Shozair Ali bludgeoned 58 and 76 respectively though to end 285-6 after the full 55 overs.

It was a respectable total, but some steady batting from Ombersley saw them just about clinch the win.

They reached their target with only two balls to spare, largely thanks to Nicolas Hammond’s impressive 83 from 74 balls.

Matthew Kleinveldt smashed a ton as Wolverhampton got a winning draw against Barnt Green.

He got 142, including 19 boundaries, to help them finish 315-5.

Barnt Green ended up 282-7 in response.

Kidderminster remain in the bottom two after losing by four wickets at Knowle & Dorridge, despite opener Craig Wood managing a stunning 160 runs.

That, and skipper Neil Pinner’s 75, helped build a 317-5 total, but Knowle & Dorridge surpassed it with just one ball to spare.
