The 30-year-old welterweight was due to take part in the 30th bout of his professional career against William Warburton,

writes Craig Birch.

His opponent's stock is rising after winning his last two fights, outpointing Callum Pearson and previously Midlands super welter champion Jason Welborn.

But Warburton has now been paired with the unbeaten Isaac MacLeod, for a show at Sunderland Football Club on Sunday.

Hunt has been left high and dry, although he was offered a spot on a bill at the Chase Leisure Centre in Cannock on July 24. He declined as he's away on holiday.

The former Midlands titlist will return to action in the autumn, working towards the target of regaining his area crown, which is now vacant.
