Dereck Chisora: Watch a real main event tonight

Dereck Chisora is calling on fight fans to watch "a real main event" against Tyson Fury tonight - but both are ruling out taking on Anthony Joshua next.

It's nearly time - watch Dereck Chisora and Tyson Fury tip the scales at the weigh in as they count down to tonight's title fight.

Chisora took a swipe at Tony Bellew's dull points win over Nathan Cleverly in an eliminator for the WBO world cruiserweight title last weekend, which was broadcast on Sky Box Office.

'Del Boy' faces Fury for a second time tonight, with his European heavyweight title and the vacant British belt on the line, at the Excel in London, live on subscription channel BoxNation.

The winner will also become the mandatory challenger to WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko with Chisora promising viewers value for money, writes Craig Birch.

He said: "There's going to be 20,000 people there, it's completely sold out. I am buzzing about being in the main event of such a big show.

"It's all about BoxNation, these great shows only come once a year and this is it. So subscribe and tune in, for just the monthly cost, and watch us do what we do best.

"We are not selling anything but great fights, not the rubbish that we saw on Sky Sports last weekend. It's bogus to be charging for that.

"People don't want to see tickling and we want to change the sport. There's no easy nights for anyone on this bill. We have forgotten about protecting fighters now.

"I think the real boxing fans will be watching us tonight, when me and Tyson get it on. Boxing should be great like this."

The heavyweight jewel in rivals Matchroom Boxing's crown is Olympic gold medallist Joshua, who has smashed through 10 opponents and all by stoppage since turning pro.

Promoter Eddie Hearn reckons the 25-year-old will be ready for either Chisora or Fury, who called him out on Twitter at one point last year, by February.

But Chisora said: "British heavyweights are coming back in a big way. There's us and Anthony Joshua is doing amazing. He's a gold medallist and we have to embrace our own.

"But there's no point in me fighting him, at the minute. There's nothing in it for me. I am not dropping down to that level again."

Fury added: "I have agreed to fight in Las Vegas in January and I will be there. Anthony is a long way off challenging, for me. Hopefully, he will do well and become a world champion.

"That's when I become interested, or when the money is too good to turn down!"

'Bad Blood' will culminate between the two on BoxNation. Subscribe through the channel's website, with no added pay-per-view charge.
