Luke Paddock v Josh McLaren for Midlands title
Walsall's Luke Paddock will travel to Stoke to battle it out with Josh McLaren for the vacant Midlands light welterweight in December.
Someone's '0' will go when when the duo lock horns for the belt at the Queens Theatre in Burslem on Saturday December 6.
Paddock saw both champion Calum Cooper and Chris Truman pull out of facing him for the area crown at Wolverhampton Civic Hall last Friday.
Cooper was forced to vacate and retire after failing a brain scan, while Truman had a change of heart after taking the fight at two weeks notice.
But Paddock still picked up his first senior title as a pro, the International Masters strap, by widely outpointing Lithuanian Simas Volosinas over 10 rounds.
Now 'Cool Hand' is preparing to take on McLaren, the Frank Warren signed fighter who has six straight wins since turning over in 2012, having last stopped Paul O'Brien in three rounds on Sunday.
