Midlands light-middleweight champion Welborn, from Rowley Regis, faces a ten-rounder against 19-year-old Stanislav Nenkov on the May 16 bill.

Sandwiched in between two wins in his homeland, Razgrad resident Nenkov lost an International Masters Light Middleweight contest against Brentwood's Kris Agyei-Dua.

For Welborn, it is the first time out since he stopped Terry Carruthers to win the Midlands title in December.

Bloxwich's Paddock – unbeaten in six professional in outings – faces Kristian Dochev, who has 25 professional fights to his name and goes into the contest on the back of a points victory over fellow Bulgarian, Erhan Sali, in Sofia earlier this month.

A host of other Midlands fighters will also appear on the bill. Wolverhampton super featherweight, Des Bowater, will be looking to make it 5-0 as he faces the evergreen Kristian Laight. Des' brother, Sid, makes his professional debut at welterweight against Tamworth's Matt Seawright.

Stafford's Rob Hunt is back in action for the first time since his International Masters Welterweight title defeat at the fists of Stephen Pearce when he takes on veteran Kevin McCauley. Hunt, who lost to Pearce at the Town Hall back in November, will be eager to make a return to winning ways.

Stoke fighter Josh McLaren puts his undefeated 4-0 record to the test against Gloucester's Louis Van Poetch.
