The show will be aired live and exclusive on BBC WM's DAB Digital Service and online, spreading the action across the West Midlands and beyond.

The former area title holder at welterweight and now light middleweight will box a yet-to-be-determined international opponent in a 10-round contest.

Rowley Regis' Welborn challenged Frankie Gavin for the British title at the start of last year and now has light middle boss Liam Smith in his sights.

Home-town fighter and new British Bronze Masters light welterweight champion Luke Paddock, from Bloxwich, will also be in action on the night.

'Cool Hand' seized the vacant belt at the same venue this month in just his sixth bout as a professional, over Gloucester's Andy Harris by stoppage in the eighth round.

Kingswinford's Kyle Spencer will be handed an instant chance to rebound from his second round stoppage defeat on that very bill with a light middle bout.

Tipton's Lee Glover and Cradley's Chris Male appear on the under-card, with the two super featherweights on an expected collision course towards each other.

'The Tipton Slasher' pushed English champion Jon Kays close before a narrow points defeat in Oldham earlier this month, earning plaudits for his display.

'The Male Man,' a punching postman, is boxing on despite a one-round defeat to Troy James for the Midlands crown last November at the same venue.

Halesowen's Lennox Clarke steps into a paid ring for the fourth time, with the super middleweight and former white collar fighter unbeaten so far.

Brothers in arms Des and Sid Bowater have been included in the line-up, the Wolverhampton duo boxing on a pro bill together for the first time.

Super feather Des, 'the Wednesfield Warrior,' competes for the first time this year after four straight wins, while older sibling Sid makes his paid bow at welter.

Another debutant up at cruiserweight, Birmingham's Olly Lambert, completes the bill alongside Leicester's Ryandeep Nandha and Stoke's Josh McLaren in welter bouts.

Tickets, priced at £30 and £60 ringside, are available from the Town Hall Box Office on 0845 111 2900. The after-show party is at the Pitch Sports Bar and Grill on Bridge Street in Walsall.
