Dudley's Ryan Aston will be glad to see the back of Tyan Booth after drawing with the gangly tough-man for a second time in a hastily-arranged contest.
Aston boxed at the Olympia in Liverpool on Saturday night, eight days after a bout in Birmingham was scrubbed at the fight venue due to his opponent.
Josef Obeslo, a Czech booked on a bill in the United Kingdom for the first time, tipped the scales a stone heavier than Aston when the two weighed in.
Aston's promoters, Matchroom Sport, got him on their Sky Sports bill at late notice against Nottingham's Booth, who previously shared a ring with him last November.
That fight was ruled a technical draw after an accidental clash of heads in the third round and the two, again, could not be separated after six sessions this time.
Aston had found him with a solid straight left in the second round as he answered fierce aggression from Booth, which saw the two middleweights trade blows.
Booth landed a nice right uppercut and a follow up straight right in the fifth, which forced Aston to hang on. The final bell sounded and referee John Latham ruled the contest a draw.
