Dudley's Ryan Aston gets Brum fight
Dudley's Ryan Aston has been added to the boxing bill at the Institute in Birmingham next month as he looks to kick on towards title contention.
The middleweight already has three victories under his belt in 2013, the last an impressive stoppage win for a British Masters title over Harry Matthews in June.
The 22-year-old, who is managed by Matchroom Sport, had been hoping to appear on the Kell Brook-Vyacheslav Senchenko led bill in Sheffield at the end of October.
But 'Tank' will now box in his home region of the West Midlands, with a Second City run-out on promoter Marcus Anderson-Hitchen's 'Friday the 13th' bill in Digbeth.
Anderson-Hitchen said: "It's great to have Ryan on board. He's an exciting prospect with a big future ahead of him.
"I have seen him training and he looks fit and sharp, so I'm sure he will put on a performance for Birmingham boxing fans!"
Budget-priced tickets are £25 general, £50 ringside and £75 VIP ringside. To buy, calling the Box Office on 0845 467 3930 or 07888 870 650.
