Young Mutley to come out of retirement
West Bromwich's Young Mutley will come out of retirement next month for a comeback fight in Birmingham after 19 months out of the ring.
The former British welterweight champion has been added to Marcus Anderson's bill at the Institute in Digbeth on Friday September 13.
The 37-year-old last threw leather in the light welterweight Prizefighter of February 2012, losing on points to Tyrone Nurse in the semi-finals.
His last win came on the same night against Telford's Mark Lloyd and the boxing bin man will now look to recapture his former glories in the twilight of his career.
Topping the bill is the rescheduled bout for the British Masters light welter title between Aston's Chris Truman and Liverpool's Stephen Jennings over 10 rounds.
Hometown super feather Ainsley Seivwright also competes on the card along with unbeaten super middle Andrew Robinson, the 28-year-old from Redditch.
Welshpool's Warren Sinden, Worcester's Michael Mooney and fellow Midlanders Mike O'Hagan, Samson Sykes and Mikey Boyles complete the night's line-up.
Promoter Anderson said: "It's an action-packed show featuring terrifying tussles and plenty of things that go bump in the night.
"Our Friday 13th show features an 'Animal', a 'Mad Man', an old favourite out to haunt his opponent, plus plenty of cracking bouts to get the hairs on the back of your neck standing up.
"It's the one you have all been screaming for!"
