Cradley's Chris Male and rival Josh Warrington set the scene at the weigh in for their English featherweight belt battle at Dudley's the Venue.

The two undefeated challengers for the vacant national crown tipped the scales at Wednesbury Boxing Academy, ahead of the 10-round showdown tonight.

Someone's '0' must go for there to be a new champion and Male looked ripped at the weight, despite being sidelined for 14 months waiting for his shot.

Warrington comes from Leeds with an unblemished pro record after 12 fights but has no stoppages, whereas Male has halted his last two opponents.

The English title hasn't been contested since Derry Mathews made Steve Chinnock retire on his stool at the Nottingham Arena back in January 2006.

Tickets are still available and the event is a dinner show, but passes can also be purchased on the door tonight just to watch the boxing at £30.

For the three-course meal, tickets are £60. For more information, call the Venue on 01384 453 104 or 07964 722 736.
