Coseley's Tommy Ghent today pulled out of his fight at the New Bingley Hall in Birmingham through injury.

Ghent was due to compete in a welterweight four-rounder on the Dave Coldwell-promoted bill on Friday May 11.

But the 19-year-old has suffered a small tear to his groin sparring with the headliner of the show, Birmingham's Nasser Al Harbi.

'Tommy Gun' will not be able to train at all for the next two months, which has put paid to his fourth professional contest.

It's the second successive bout that Ghent has lost after picking up an injury and for a fight at the same venue, too.

The teenager was ruled off last month's bill, after pulling a muscle in his back during a training session.

But Dudley's Rizwan Rasool has been added to the bill in another four-round contest at lightweight.

The 30-year-old made his pro debut on the aforementioned bill at the New Bingley Hall on March 16.

Rasool, from Shaun Cooper's gym in Brierley Hill, outpoined Dan Carr in his first competitive fight for over a decade.
