Ricky Hatton will be joining Aston Villa Football Club to meet and greet fight fans for a sportsman's dinner in the Holte Suite next month.

'The Hitman' is once again top of the bill for an evening's entertaiment on the grounds of the Premier League outfit on Friday May 18.

The multi-time world champion will tell tales from a career that brought him British, WBU, IBF, IBO and WBA 'super' light welterweight titles.

By the time Hatton sampled defeat for the first time in 2008, he was sharing a ring with one of the pound-for-pound greatest in Floyd Mayweather.

A two-round knockout defeat at the hands of Manny Pacquiao a year later brought the curtain down on his in-ring career after 47 contests.

The 33-year-old has since moved into promoting and his bills are regularly a part of the boxing schedule on Sky Sports' Saturday Fight Night.

Now an accomplished after-dinner speaker, Hatton's blend of story-telling and cracking jokes are sure to raise laughs among the audience.

Tickets for the night cost £75, which include a seated three-course meal and meeting the man himself for a photograph.

There will also be a signing session and discounts are available for those wishing to purchase a whole table.

To purchase, call event organiser Ken Purchase on 07976 842 383 or go to www.prsevents.co.uk.
