Boxing fans attending the televised bill at Wolverhampton Civic Hall on Friday night were today urged to arrive early to avoid missing any action.

The first bout is set to take place at 6:45pm and the BoxNation cameras will roll until, at least, 11pm on what will be a busy night of boxing at the Civic.

Former WBO world and European champion Enzo Maccarinelli will tempt to wrest the British cruiserweight title from Shane McPhilbin in the main event.

Dudley's Jason Welborn puts up his Midlands welterweight title for the first time against Coventry's James Flinn in chief support.

All in all 10 bouts are on the show including six-rounders for Walsall duo Martin Gethin and Christopher Keane and Birmingham's Thomas Costello.

Dudley's Dean Anderson, Stafford's Grant Cunningham, Brierley Hill's Kyle Spencer, Stourbridge's Steven Pearce and Halesowen's Zak the Ripper - real name Saquib Amir - complete the card.

For more information, call the box office on 0870 320 7000 or promoter Paul 'PJ' Rowson on 07976 283 157.

A limited number of tickets will also be available on the doors on the night, which open at 6pm.
