Dudley's Ryan Aston will be opposed by the returning Kieron Gray on the Prizefighter bill at Wolverhampton Civic Hall after the Telford fighter came out of retirement.

'Tank' will face Gray in a six-rounder in front of the Sky Sports cameras on February 11 as a supporting act to the eight-man, one night, tournament.

Aston is on the show as a 'Prizefighter Prospect,' signed to the Matchroom stable, and boxes in the Black Country for the first time as a pro.

Gray hung up his gloves after taking Coseley's Jamie Ball to a draw for the Midlands light middleweight title in December 2010 but has come back.

'Slammer' steps up to middleweight in the process and, as a come forward fighter, Aston has vowed he will feel the added power come fight night.

He said: "He's a tough guy and he will come to fight, he will try and have a row, but he will come to get hurt.

"This is what I wanted, these fights are stepping stones to get me up to where I want to be.

"I have got no real game plan for him, he's not got anything that I haven't seen before.

"If he comes forward, I will box him on the back foot and then punish him with counter shots.

"I will adapt to his style and completely annihilate him that way."

Aston's pro career may be in it's infancy but he has four straight wins since turning pro last June, after winning four national titles as an amateur.

And the 20-year-old has warned there will be nowhere to hide when the two go toe-to-toe in the ring.

He said: "He's took the fight and that's it, there's no excuses. He's getting in the ring and he can't say he's not fit or has got ring rust.

"But for him to come up to middleweight, I didn't really see that coming."
