Walsall legends to feature in charity match in Chris Nicholl's memory
A host of Walsall legends will lace up their boots again for a charity game in memory of the late Chris Nicholl.

All-time record appearance holder Jimmy Walker is among the standout names alongside three-time promotion winner Dean Keates, and ex-strikers Darren Byfield and Darren Wrack.
The event, which has been dubbed the 'Chris Nicholl Trophy - Legends vs Legends', will be played on May 16 at Walsall's Bescot Stadium, with kick-off at 7:30pm.
Nicholl, who passed away aged 77 in February last year, famously guided the Saddlers to automatic promotion from the Third Division in 1995.
Former Wolves and Republic of Ireland left-back Stephen Ward, who finished his playing career in 2022, is also set to feature.
