Mat Sadler gives honest reflection following Walsall last-gasp leveller

Mat Sadler felt a point was the "very least" Walsall deserved in their 1-1 draw against promotion rivals AFC Wimbledon at Bescot.

Taylor Allen salvaged a draw with a stunning free-kick into the top corner just three minutes from time to send Walsall one-point clear at the League Two summit. 

Omar Bugiel had fired the visitors ahead with a precise finish into the bottom corner from the edge of the box but Walsall conjured up a rousing response to bounce back. 

George Hall was among a flurry of reinforcements in the second half as he made his comeback from a long-term hamstring injury and Sadler praised the contribution of his substitutions.

"Is it enough? I don't know the answer to that but it was the least we deserved," the Walsall boss said.

"The first half was quite cagey. Both teams feeling each other out a little bit, not a lot in both really. 

"I thought we came out really strongly in the second half. Their goal came against the run of play a little bit because we started to build up a head of steam.
