Albion were held for an 18th time on Saturday - the highest number in the top six divisions in England this season.
Preston are close behind Albion in the draw column - having been involved in 17 stalemates.
Bristol City and Burnley are two other clubs who have drawn a large number of their games this campaign - with 15 each.
For Albion, those draws make up just under half of their results, but only four of them have come under Tony Mowbray with the majority in the run of ten draws in eleven games when Carlos Corberan was in charge.
It has been a theme of Albion's season - but the spread of their results has meant they have avoided the record of eight consecutive draws.
Albion reached six, before a victory away at Hull City in November, their last away victory in the league.
However, with eight games left to play, they could still pick up an unwanted record for the most draws in an EFL campaign.
The current record stands at 23, with five clubs jointly holding the record.
The highest rank side to record the most draws in a single campaign was Norwich City in their old First Division campaign in the 1978/79 season. They drew 23 games out of a possible 42.
The most draws for a 46 game season, which Albion will complete this year, is jointly held by Exeter City, who achieved the unwanted feat in the Fourth Division on 1986/87. Hartlepool United in 1997/98 in the Third Division and Cardiff City in the same season also drew 23 games from a 46 game campaign.
If Albion were to reach the unwanted number, they would have to draw six of their last eight league matches.
