Former Bromley striker Levi Amantchi cancelled out Ben Thompson's seventh-minute opener on the cusp of half-time with a lovely finish on the turn.

Substitute Harry McKirdy lobbed Sam Hornby to restore Bromley's lead but Matt rescued a point with his 12th goal of the season.

Here, we reflect on the main talking points from the draw.

Winless in five

A draw was probably a fair reflection of the game overall. Walsall were better in the second half but it was far from a scintillating display.

It's another point on the road and they're actually unbeaten in four games away from Bescot which is one of the few positive signs from recent weeks.

However, wins remain at a premium at the most important stage of the season.
