Express & Star's Nathan Judah scoops Regional Press Award for Wolves coverage

Nathan beat off stiff competition from a host of excellent shortlisted candidates to scoop the top award following his coverage of Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The judges sighted Nathan's strong ability to excel as a modern day muti-media journalist through engaging articles, analysis driven videos and entertaining podcasts.

His feature on social media abuse in sport was especially well received as was the Wolves pre-season coverage from Miami including tour diaries, daily videos and matchday coverage.

Former boss Gary O'Neil's appearance on a special podcast in July was seen as a big scoop while Nathan's delivery and relaxed, but informative broadcasting style was described as 'innovative and refreshing' in today's modern newsroom.

Judges said Nathan was a “stand-out” winner for a “fantastic breadth of reporting… his work…should be held aloft as one of the finest examples in regional news.”
