Bromley achieved promotion to the Football League for the first time in their 132-year history after beating Solihull Moors on penalties in the National League play-off final last term.
The Ravens have exceeded expectations during their debut campaign in League Two and sit just five points adrift of the play-off spots.
They will return to home comforts tomorrow night when Walsall visit the capital and Woodman warned the League Two leaders that Hayes Lane can be a "special" place under the lights.
Boss Woodman said: "It's a game I'm probably looking more forward to than Tranmere. The expectation of us coming here (to Tranmere), a lot of people say, 'you'll get a win there' and I'm thinking have we forgotten where we are and where we've come from?
"I'm not saying we wouldn't get a win here but we have to make sure we keep a grip on our journey.
"Our journey is very new for this football club, this group of players and myself. So we must respect every team and every game we play.
"Walsall will be a tough game. We know what to expect from them but Hayes Lane under the lights is normally something special for us."
At home, Bromley have been a force to be reckoned with of late, collecting three wins from their last four games at Hayes Lane.
They have also beaten fellow promotion contenders AFC Wimbledon and Doncaster Rovers this month, underlining their ability to beat the division's top sides.
Michael Cheek has translated his remarkable goal scoring record in non-league into his maiden campaign in the Football League.
The 33-year-old leads the way in the race for the League Two golden boot with 17 - including four in his last eight appearances.
