Oisin McEntee retained his place during the 1-1 draw at Carlisle United on Tuesday despite Sadler declaring Williams fit following a minor knee issue.

Williams has been part of the squad for the past four games but has not played a single minute.

The 22-year-old has been one of the standout players for Walsall this term, scoring three goals in 31 appearances in all competitions.

But Sadler has been satisfied with recent defensive performances and is certain that Williams will feature again.
