Amantchi joined the Saddlers from League Two rivals Bromley on an 18-month deal with the option of a further year during the winter transfer window.

The 24-year-old is still awaiting his first start for the club but has made six appearances from the bench in League Two.

He opened his goal scoring account for his new employers with a stoppage time strike in Walsall's 3-1 win over Chesterfield at Bescot on February 15.

And Sadler feels that there is plenty of scope to help Amantchi develop into a key asset.
