Mowbray's exciting side that won the Championship title in 2008 were not one renowned for being the best at defending their own box.
But when they came to attacking the opposition's goal, no one was better than them in that campaign.
After his second coming at the club, Mowbray is setting about trying to turn Albion from a tight, solid, unit that rarely conceded but didn't score many, to one that is free flowing and winning games.
Under Carlos Corberan this season, Albion were compact. They kept clean sheets. Earlier in the season they looked as though they just weren't going to lose games, especially when they were on that long unbeaten run of draws.
But at the same time, it didn't look like they were going to win games despite having so much attacking quality at their disposal.
