After Aston Villa supporters earlier this week wrote to club bosses calling for ticket prices to be frozen, the FSA has contacted the Premier League for its support.

The association has kicked off a 'Stop Exploiting Loyalty' campaign, which is aimed at freezing and lowering ticket prices.

Some clubs, such as Brentford and Liverpool have already committed to keeping their prices at the same rate for next season, while protests have taken place at Spurs, Man United and Manchester City next season.

Many clubs are still mulling over their pricing structures for next season, and the FSA wants the Premier League to back freezes across the board.

A statement said: "The FSA's #StopExploitingLoyalty campaign pulls all of those together with a single focus which calls for price freezes, an end to the attack on concessions and increased supporter engagement."

As well as a price freeze, the FSA said it wants protection of all concessions and for improved dialogue between clubs and supporters over ticketing issues.

The statement from the association, came after Villa supporter groups wrote to the club to call for a freeze on their tickets for the 2025/26 season.

Fans warn they are at risk of being priced out by the increasing cost of attending matches and say a price freeze is “crucial for the long-term success and spirit of the club.”

Villa’s tickets have risen considerably in cost over recent seasons, with the club heavily criticised for charging a minimum of £70 to attend Champions League matches this season.
