Cheltenham eased to a 3-0 win over Flynn's ex-employers Newport County at Rodney Parade over the weekend to climb into the top half of the table.
The Robins have won three games in a row on home soil in League Two and have tasted defeat just once in 10 matches at Whaddon Road (winning six, drawing three).
They trail the play-off spots by eight points as it stands but boast two games in hand on Crewe Alexandra in seventh.
