Djiga, who arrived from Red Star Belgrade earlier this month, is still awaiting his debut in England after featuring as an unused substitute in the past two games.
The Burkina Faso international could have an opportunity to break into the first team frame over the upcoming games after Emmanuel Agbadou suffered a hamstring strain in the 2-1 defeat against Liverpool at Anfield last Saturday.
Although Pereira hasn't pinpointed an exact time frame on Agbadou's injury, the Ivorian is expected to be out until around mid-March.
